Nolita holds a Bachelors Degree in Photography and has achieved recognition for her work both locally and internationally. She is multi-skilled and has extensive experience in Photography, Teaching, Media, Marketing, Branding, Content Creation, Graphic Design and much more. Nolita has a diverse portfolio and is no stranger to different environments which ranges from academic, corporate and private settings.
AWARD WINNING PHOTOGRAPHY
Whilst completing her degree in Photography at the Durban University of Technology, Nolita was awarded by Gooderson Leisure for the best picture showcasing Durban's beachfront lifestyle which is one of the focal points in the tourism sector.
The picture above was published in several local news outlets and publications. Nolita photographed the Durban and Drakensberg's hotels for the Gooderson Leisure's Sales and Marketing Department.
Education can be used as the most powerful weapon for the overall development and empowerment of others. With this in mind, Nolita has always been passionate about shared knowledge. This attribute helped launch her into a two year career as a Photography Teaching Assistant in the Durban University of Technology. Nolita taught students Visual Communication, Theory of Photography, Digital/Graphic Design and Professional Practice modules.
AUTOMOTIVE SECTOR
Nolita worked for two years in a well reputable Automotive Dealership. Her role as a Media Co-Ordinator permitted her into photographing some of the companies top tiered prestigious events with important stakeholders and household names. Her role came with the responsibility of maintaining and developing the brands corporate identity. Nolita provided divisional support with content creation, marketing material and graphic design.
EXPERIENCE IN PRINT
Through working in a digital print and copy shop, Nolita gained valuable insight into large format printing, photographic printing, photobook creation, passport images, design and layout to suit each clients' needs, photo restoration etc.
FREELANCE PHOTOGRAPHER
The life of a freelance photographer afforded Nolita the opportunity to capture many different types of functions and events for people from all walks of life. Freelancing proved to be a valuable platform for Nolita to learn and develop essential business skills.
